Apply in confidence →Top-tier national law firm is seeking an Associate to join its Compensation & Benefits practice across U.S. offices. The role focuses on equity and executive compensation matters and supports transactional and public company work.
Day-to-day work includes advising on equity- and cash-based executive pay, proxy disclosure, employment and severance agreements, and tax provisions under Sections 280G and 409A. The team also handles compensation issues in M&A and IPO contexts.
Ideal candidates have strong drafting, analytical and oral-communication skills and will work with cross-functional deal teams and client stakeholders on high‑profile matters.
- 3–6 years of experience in executive compensation, equity-based compensation, and employee benefits
- Experience with proxy disclosures, employment/severance agreements, and IRC Sections 280G and 409A
- Experience on M&A and IPO compensation matters
- Excellent writing, oral communication and analytical skills
