Apply in confidence →Top-tier US law firm is seeking a mid-level Compensation & Benefits Associate to join its national practice. The role focuses on executive and equity-based compensation, employee benefits, and related corporate matters across transactions and public company work.
Typical matters include advising on equity and executive compensation programs, proxy disclosure, employment and severance agreements, IRC Sections 280G and 409A, and support on M&A and IPO matters. The team works closely with corporate and securities groups on cross-disciplinary engagements.
- 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in compensation and employee benefits law
- Practical experience with equity and executive compensation, proxy disclosures, employment/severance agreements, and IRC Sections 280G and 409A
- Experience supporting M&A and IPO-related compensation and benefits issues
- Excellent academic record and strong drafting, oral communication and analytical skills
