Compensation & Benefits Associate — Employment & Labor

Seeking a mid-level associate to join a national Compensation & Benefits practice supporting public and private company work. The role focuses on equity and executive compensation, proxy disclosures, employment and severance agreements, IRC Sections 280G and 409A, and compensation issues in M&A and IPO transactions.

The team advises across transactional and compensation-governance matters; the position offers exposure to complex cross-practice deals and public-company reporting. The firm provides a competitive benefits package and established parental and family support programs.

• 3–6 years of relevant C&B experience (equity & executive comp, 280G/409A, proxy disclosure, M&A/IPO-related work)
• Strong academic credentials and demonstrated legal writing and analytical skills
• Experience with employment and severance agreements and public-company disclosure preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively across transactional and compliance teams
