Apply in confidence →Seeking an associate to join a national Compensation & Benefits practice. The role supports clients on equity and executive compensation, employee benefits, and related transactional and public-company matters across multiple U.S. offices.
Work includes advising on equity-based plans, executive compensation arrangements, proxy disclosure, employment and severance agreements, IRC Sections 280G and 409A, and compensation aspects of M&A and IPOs. The team values strong drafting, oral advocacy and analytical skills.
The hiring firm offers a full suite of employee benefits and a comprehensive leave and parental support program. Candidates should be eligible to work in the United States and available for placement in one of the firm's U.S. offices.
- 3–6 years of relevant post-qualifying experience in compensation and benefits law
- Practical experience with equity-based compensation, executive compensation, proxy disclosures, and employment/severance agreements
- Knowledge of IRC Sections 280G and 409A and experience on compensation issues in M&A and IPOs
- Excellent academic credentials, strong drafting, oral communication and analytical abilities
