Senior attorney role in a national Compensation & Benefits practice advising on tax‑qualified retirement plans and health & welfare plans. The role focuses on ERISA compliance, plan design and administration, regulatory filings and audits, and transactional benefit issues arising in mergers and acquisitions.

Day‑to‑day work includes drafting plan documents and disclosures, performing compliance testing, managing IRS and DOL filings and audits, handling correction matters, and counseling on ERISA plan‑asset issues. Experience with ESOP transactions is a plus.

Minimum 6 years' experience advising on tax‑qualified retirement plans and health & welfare plans (ERISA & benefits counseling).
Practical experience with plan design, administration, drafting plan documents and participant disclosures.
Experience with compliance testing, IRS and DOL filings/audits, and correction programs.
Transactional experience advising on benefits issues in M&A and other deals; ESOP and plan‑asset experience a plus.
Strong academic record, superior writing, oral communication and analytical skills.
