The role centers on ERISA compliance, plan design and administration, drafting plan documents and disclosures, and handling related regulatory matters.
The position involves counseling on benefit plan issues in corporate transactions, managing compliance testing and IRS/DOL filings and audits, and leading correction matters. Experience with ESOPs and ERISA plan asset rules is a plus. The team offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive pay range.
- Minimum 6 years of experience advising on tax‑qualified retirement plans and health & welfare plans (ERISA focus)
- Experience with plan design, administration, drafting plan documents and disclosures, compliance testing, and IRS/DOL filings/audits
- Experience advising on benefit issues in mergers, acquisitions and other transactions; ESOP and plan‑asset experience preferred
- Strong academic record with excellent writing, oral communication and analytical skills
