A full-service AmLaw 100 firm is seeking an associate to join its Construction Litigation Practice in its Orange County office. The role involves defending businesses and individuals in construction-related property and personal injury claims, including matters involving significant exposure and complex, catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation.

The firm's construction litigation group is a substantial national team of experienced trial attorneys who handle all phases of defense work, from case management and motion practice through discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. Candidates will work alongside seasoned partners and senior associates in a growing, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong research and writing skills and experience across the phases of insurance defense litigation. While insurance defense background is preferred, the firm is also open to talented litigators with substantive experience in other litigation arenas who are eager to develop within construction defense. Admission to the California Bar is required.

1–7 years of litigation experience, including case management, motion practice, and discovery
Experience handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
Strong legal research and writing skills
Insurance defense experience preferred, but substantive litigation experience in other areas will be considered
Admission to the California Bar required
