An established national construction team is seeking a Construction Legal Director to join its Leeds office. The role is predominantly focused on contentious construction and dispute work, with opportunities to be involved in non-contentious projects and to work alongside experienced construction partners.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team, take a visible role on complex instructions, support business development activities and benefit from structured learning and progression programmes. The role offers a supportive rewards package and flexible working options.

At least 8 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) with substantial construction law exposure
Proven experience on contentious / disputes matters in the construction sector; candidates with a broader construction background will also be considered
Strong technical knowledge of core construction law and dispute resolution processes
Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills, with commercial awareness and a team-oriented approach
Self-motivated, able to work under pressure with strong attention to detail and professional discretion
