A global law firm
Apply in confidence →An established global legal consulting platform is seeking experienced banking and finance lawyers to join its panel as self-directed consultants. This is a flexible, non-traditional route for senior practitioners who want to retain control of their time while working on high-quality, complex matters.
Consultants take on a varied mix of engagements: supporting client teams in-house on projects or regulatory change initiatives, or joining a firm's own practice groups on an ad-hoc or fixed-term basis. Assignments typically range from two to twelve months and are commonly worked four days per week, with a broad choice of sectors, teams and clients over time.
Panel members receive dedicated consultant management support alongside access to extensive legal knowledge resources, professional support lawyers, a senior lawyer contact during assignments, coaching, bespoke development programmes and legal training. The platform invests in consultants' careers, though continuous work cannot be guaranteed and placements are accepted at the consultant's discretion.

- Comfortable leading or working within complex, multi-functional, multi-national project environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Exemplary client service ethic and strong commercial acumen
- Resilient, adaptable, autonomous and highly credible
