We are seeking Contract Associates and Contract Senior Associates to join a busy and growing Employment team. The team is ranked as a National Leader and offers resident employment expertise across England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, working with well-known clients in the retail, public, and financial services sectors.

The role involves high-quality, varied employment work, including helping employers manage workplace issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring, and redundancies. You will lead on Employment Tribunal claims (almost exclusively for Respondents) and provide support on TUPE matters, corporate deals, outsourcing contracts, contract drafting, and client training.

This is an initial 6-month contract, paid on a day-rate basis via an umbrella company. Hybrid office attendance is required at one of the following locations: Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, or Manchester.

Qualified lawyer with 3+ years PQE in an employment team
Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
Commercially aware with some exposure to business development
Ability to develop a deep understanding of client business needs
Collaborative and eager to assist in the development of junior team members
