Corporate Associate (M&A/Private Equity) — New York

Top-tier corporate team seeks a transactional associate with private equity and M&A experience to join its New York office. The role involves leading and supporting acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures and fund-related matters across a national corporate practice that serves private equity sponsors, independent investors and family offices.

Successful candidates will work on complex, cross-border and domestic transactions, collaborate with deal teams, and provide practical, business-focused advice to clients. The group emphasizes professional development and integration into a busy transactional practice.

The firm operates a hybrid working model; this position requires approximately 60% in-office attendance in line with published firm guidelines.

• J.D. or LL.M. from an ABA-accredited law school
• 3+ years’ experience in M&A and private equity transactional work
• Admitted to, or eligible for admission in, New York
• Strong drafting, analytical and oral communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively in deal teams
