Top-ranked global law firm seeks a Corporate M&A Associate to join its Chicago corporate practice. The role focuses on complex public and private M&A work, including private equity transactions, within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The successful candidate will take significant responsibility on transactions: leading diligence, drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and related documentation, and coordinating across practice groups. The office offers competitive compensation and a full benefits package.

Minimum of 4 years' relevant transactional experience (public and private M&A, private equity emphasis)
Strong drafting skills and working knowledge of acquisition agreements and related M&A documentation
Experience leading due diligence teams and managing transactions from inception to closing
Excellent academic record, strong writing and interpersonal skills; ability to mentor junior lawyers and work across teams
Admission to the Illinois Bar or eligibility for admission
