Corporate M&A Associate — Mid-Level

Highly regarded national law firm seeks a 4th–6th year corporate associate to join its Corporate/M&A group in Texas. The role is open across the firm's Texas offices (Dallas, Houston, Austin) and offers opportunity to work on private equity-backed transactions and corporate governance matters.

The successful candidate will work on the full lifecycle of M&A matters and related capital-raising and securities work, support portfolio companies on day-to-day corporate matters, and collaborate with cross-practice teams. The group values mentorship and expects contributors to help train junior lawyers.

• 4–6 years' US law firm experience in M&A and private equity transactions
• Experience with buy- and sell-side deals, majority and minority equity issuances, and capital raises; drafting and negotiating transaction documents
• Experience drafting operating and partnership agreements and advising portfolio companies on corporate governance
• Strong academic record, superior drafting and research skills, detail-oriented and team-focused
• Admission to the Texas Bar
