Growing cyber/data/privacy practice seeks a mid-level associate to join US offices on a multi-office basis (New York, San Francisco, Seattle or Washington, DC). The team advises a broad range of clients across technology, life sciences, financial services and media on privacy and security matters.

Work is predominantly counseling and advisory, including privacy and cybersecurity aspects of corporate and technology transactions, incident preparedness and response, regulatory compliance and investigations. The role offers client-facing responsibility and opportunities to lead significant projects.

4–7 years' post-qualification experience advising on privacy, data protection and cybersecurity matters (law firm or in-house).
Practical experience with CCPA/CPRA, GDPR and other privacy frameworks; data breach/incident response and preparedness.
Experience with privacy-related diligence, data processing agreements and privacy schedules in commercial or corporate transactions.
Excellent analytical and drafting skills and demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead projects.
