Apply in confidence →Growing cyber, data privacy and security practice in the US is seeking a mid-level associate to join the team. The role is open to candidates for multiple U.S. offices (including New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C.).
The team advises a broad range of clients across technology, financial services, life sciences, media and other industries on privacy compliance, incident response, contract drafting and transactional privacy diligence. Day-to-day work combines counseling and advisory matters with support on transactional, incident preparedness/response, investigative and regulatory matters.
- 4–7 years PQE in privacy, cybersecurity or relevant technology practice (law firm or in-house)
- Experience advising on CCPA/CPRA, GDPR and other state/federal privacy laws; data breach/incident response planning and management
- Experience drafting and negotiating data processing agreements, privacy schedules and information-security provisions in commercial and transactional contexts
- Bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction, excellent drafting and analytical skills, and proven client-facing experience
