Apply in confidence →Multi-office US opening for an associate to join a growing cyber/data/privacy practice. The team advises a broad client base — including emerging and public technology companies, financial institutions, life sciences and media — on privacy, data security and incident response matters.
Work includes counseling and regulatory compliance, privacy and security aspects of corporate and technology transactions, data processing agreements, incident preparedness and breach response, and support for investigations and litigation. The role offers exposure to cross-border work and collaboration with teams across the US, Europe and Asia.
- 4–7 years post-qualification experience in privacy, data protection or cybersecurity advisory roles (law firm or in-house)
- Practical experience with CCPA/CPRA, GDPR and other privacy regimes, data breach/incident response, and privacy-related diligence for transactions
- Experience drafting and negotiating data processing agreements, privacy schedules and security-related contract language
- Strong academics, excellent analytical and writing skills, and proven ability to engage directly with clients and lead matters
