An elite global law firm is seeking outstanding junior and mid-level associates to join its Global Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Practice and AI Practice in Washington, D.C.

The role involves advising clients on the rapidly evolving artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, privacy, and technology landscapes. Associates will handle a range of matters at the intersection of AI, privacy, and cybersecurity, supporting clients in navigating complex regulatory and compliance challenges.

Two to six years of relevant experience handling data privacy, AI, and cybersecurity matters
Experience assisting clients with AI, cybersecurity, and privacy incident preparedness and response
Experience conducting regulatory defense investigations relating to AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity issues
Experience building legally defensible AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity programs in the US, including frameworks such as NIST, CCPA, BIPA, HIPAA, WMHMDA, and other state and federal privacy laws
Experience conducting AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity due diligence and M&A support
Experience drafting AI, privacy, and cybersecurity policies and negotiating data processing and related agreements
High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience preferred
Strong interest in AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity is desired
Federal government or law enforcement experience on AI, cybersecurity, or data privacy issues, including non-legal experience, is welcome
