Apply in confidence →Leading, nationally recognized technology practice seeks a Managing Associate to join a fast-growing Cybersecurity & Incident Response group. The role offers hands-on incident response work, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and direct client exposure across sectors including technology, financial services, life sciences and energy.
Responsibilities include managing and directing forensic investigations, advising on regulatory and litigation risk, developing incident communications strategies, supporting preparedness and governance work, and counseling on security aspects of transactions and novel offensive-security issues. The role includes training and mentorship and opportunities to support related privacy, enforcement, and AI advisory matters.
- 3–5 years of cybersecurity/privacy experience, with strong preference for direct incident response experience
- Excellent legal research, writing, analytical and oral communication skills
- Ability to work under time pressure during incident matters, with sound judgment and strong attention to detail
- Team-oriented, collaborative mindset and comfort working across disciplines
- Membership in the state bar of the desired office (or ability to obtain admission promptly)
