Data Protection, Privacy & Security Associate — Compliance & Regulatory

Top-tier international firm seeks an associate with experience in data privacy, cybersecurity and enterprise data governance. The role involves advising global clients on U.S. state and federal privacy laws, emerging regulatory frameworks, incident response, and cross-border compliance initiatives.

This position is open to candidates based in Washington, D.C. or New York and offers regular client engagement and opportunities to contribute to privacy program development and complex regulatory matter work.

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the New York or District of Columbia bar
• 3+ years of post-qualification experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, or regulatory advisory work
• Experience with privacy program development, incident response, or cross-border compliance; strong written and verbal communication skills
