A leading law firm is seeking junior associates to join its Debt Finance practice in Washington, DC. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors in a broad range of debt financing transactions.

The position offers substantial hands-on deal work, including secured lending transactions, transaction closings, and drafting documents and issues lists. Associates work across multiple, diverse projects in a fast-paced practice.

1–3 years of experience representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions
Working knowledge of secured lending transactions
Experience with transaction closings and drafting documents/issues lists
Preferred: familiarity with Article 9 of the UCC, acquisition financing (including commitment letters), debt securities offerings (high yield and/or convertible notes), and general corporate law
JD or equivalent with strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
Training and development experience at a large law firm
Ability to manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
