We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Associate to join one of the largest and most comprehensive Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practices in the United States. This role focuses on the welfare side of employee benefits advice and counsel work, advising major employers across industries such as manufacturing, retail, healthcare, insurance, and financial services.

You will work in a collaborative, team-based environment on challenging and groundbreaking legal projects, with exposure to cutting-edge legal service delivery approaches. The practice is routinely ranked among the top in respected legal and business publications and maintains a dynamic, diverse culture dedicated to client growth and the development and resilience of its people.

4–7 years of employee benefits experience in health and welfare plans
Familiarity with HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, mental health parity, cafeteria plans, flexible spending accounts, severance plans, and related compliance and counseling work
Top law firm experience, or a combination of law firm and in-house experience
Excellent academic credentials
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Admission to the Illinois Bar, or the ability to waive into it
