An established Employment & Labor practice group is seeking an attorney with two to five years of broad, sophisticated employment law experience to join its California-based team. This is a hands-on role offering substantial responsibility across contentious and advisory employment work.

The position involves case development, legal research and writing, all aspects of discovery, witness interviews and investigations, and brief writing. On the counseling side, the attorney will advise clients on employment policies and practices, statutory and regulatory compliance, and employment and separation agreements.

Two to five years of broad employment law experience
Experience in case development, legal research and writing, discovery, witness interviews and investigations, and brief writing
Strong employment counseling skills, including policy and practice advising, statutory and regulatory compliance, and employment and separation agreements
Strong academic credentials and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
High level of motivation and initiative, with willingness to train and mentor junior associates
Current admission to the California bar
