Seeking an associate to join a busy employment and labor practice supporting clients from the firm’s U.S. offices. The role is open to candidates to work in either the Northern Virginia or Washington, D.C. office.

The position focuses on employment counseling and transactional support, including statutory and regulatory compliance, executive employment and separation agreements, and employment-related aspects of M&A. Some litigation exposure is desirable but not required.

1–3 years of relevant labor & employment experience
Experience advising on statutory and regulatory compliance, executive employment and separation agreements, and employment dimensions of M&A transactions
Litigation experience is a plus
Strong academic record and excellent communication skills
