We are seeking experienced employment lawyers in Sydney to support a growing volume of client demand. This flexible consulting-style role is suited to seasoned contract lawyers as well as practitioners interested in transitioning into a consulting model.

The work spans a broad employment and labor caseload, including employee relations, employment litigation and investigations, advisory and compliance work, collective bargaining and industrial relations, and support on corporate transactions and restructurings. You will also handle matters touching on workplace safety, discrimination, privacy, complex staff complaints, disciplinary action, and termination of employment.

Additional engagement may include large-scale remediation and compliance projects. You will work autonomously, manage multiple senior stakeholders, and provide pragmatic, commercially sound advice.

Minimum of 5 years' employment law experience
Current Australian practising certificate
Right to live and work in Australia
Strong knowledge of employment law, workplace safety, anti-discrimination, and industrial relations matters
Experience liaising with employment regulators and handling complex staff issues
Commercial acumen, strong legal judgement, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
