Our client, a nationally recognized employment and labor law firm, is seeking an associate with at least four years of litigation experience to join its St. Louis office. The firm has a long history of representing employers and is consistently ranked among the top national practices in labor and employment litigation and management-side employment and labor law. This position follows a hybrid working model.

The role offers broad exposure to employment disputes. You will defend and litigate lawsuits covering a wide range of employment-related claims and administrative charges of discrimination, and represent employers in court, before state and federal agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration. Matters may include class and collective actions, as well as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases. The associate will also advise and counsel clients on a wide range of labor and employment laws and regulations.

JD from an ABA-accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
4+ years of litigation experience; employment law background strongly preferred
Active Missouri bar admission required, or the ability to obtain admission quickly
Illinois bar admission preferred
Working knowledge of current court and employment-related agency procedures (state and federal)
Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational, time-management, and project-management skills
Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, with the ability to work independently on various projects
