We are seeking an experienced employment litigation associate to join a well-established national employment and labor practice in the firm’s Nashville office. The role focuses on defending employers in a broad range of employment-related disputes and regulatory matters.

Typical work will include managing and litigating cases in state and federal court, responding to administrative agency charges, handling mediations and arbitrations, advising and training employer clients on workplace policies and compliance, and assisting with class/collective actions and other complex matters.

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • At least 5 years of litigation experience; employment/labor law background strongly preferred
  • Admission to the Tennessee bar in good standing
  • Familiarity with state and federal administrative agency procedures (e.g., EEOC, state agencies)
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills; experience in court, arbitration, and mediation
  • Excellent organizational, time- and project-management abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and provide client-facing counsel and training
