Employment Litigation Of Counsel — Employment & Labor — Los Angeles

Senior litigation role in a busy Los Angeles employment law practice defending employers in a wide range of workplace disputes. The position requires ownership of litigation matters from investigation through trial, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, mediations and settlement negotiations.

The successful candidate will counsel clients on employment-law issues, draft pleadings and motions, appear in court, and lead fact development and strategy for complex matters. Work is independent but collaborative with a client-service focus.

• Juris Doctor and active California bar license in good standing
• 9+ years of employment litigation defense experience preferred
• Proven experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions and settlement negotiations
• Excellent written and oral communication, strong analytical and organizational skills
