An established employment and labor defense practice is seeking an Of Counsel attorney to join its expanding Los Angeles-based team. This role offers the opportunity to independently defend employment litigation while providing ongoing advice and counsel to clients on a broad range of employment-law issues.

Litigation responsibilities include conducting legal research; drafting memoranda, pleadings, and dispositive motions; appearing at court conferences and oral arguments; taking and defending depositions; managing discovery and investigations; preparing position statements; and leading mediations and direct settlement negotiations.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a consistent record of substantive litigation work in motion practice and discovery, excellent follow-through, the ability to work independently, a client-service mindset, a genuine passion for employment law, and strong analytical and writing skills.

Juris Doctor degree
Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing, with continuing licensure maintained throughout employment
9+ years of employment litigation defense experience preferred
Superior written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
