Apply in confidence →Top-tier New York office seeks an Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Associate with 3–6 years' experience to join a busy transactional practice. The role involves advising on complex compensation and benefits issues arising in change-in-control transactions, public and private equity deals, bankruptcies, asset sales, IPOs and financings.
Ideal candidates will have solid experience on executive compensation matters, with preference for those who have worked on public-company disclosure and SEC-related executive compensation issues. The position offers hands-on transactional work and collaboration with senior deal teams.
- 3–6 years post-qualification experience in executive compensation and employee benefits work
- J.D. and admission to the New York bar (or qualification transfer plans)
- Experience advising on executive compensation in M&A, financings, IPOs, bankruptcies and asset sales
- Familiarity with public-company executive compensation disclosure and SEC rules preferred
- Strong drafting, transactional and client-facing skills
