Our client, a leading US law firm, is seeking a highly motivated associate to join its Commercial Real Estate Finance team within the Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group. The position is available in North Carolina, with a strong preference for Charlotte or Winston-Salem.

Essential qualifications and responsibilities include:

At least 3–5 years of finance experience, including documenting, negotiating, closing, and conducting due diligence for secured and unsecured credit facilities and loan transactions, with commercial real estate finance experience preferred.
Proven experience managing large commercial lending transactions from inception through closing and post-closing stages.
Strong academic credentials, outstanding written and oral communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.
