The role involves drafting and briefing dispositive and pre-trial motions, managing discovery and document productions, preparing deposition outlines and exhibits, and supporting trial and arbitration matters as needed.
The team works collaboratively across offices on high-stakes commercial and regulatory matters; strong writing, client-facing skills, and case-management experience are essential. Competitive compensation and standard firm benefits are offered.
- 3–5 years post-qualification litigation experience (federal/state court or arbitration).
- Experience defending financial institutions or handling financial-services litigation; familiarity with federal banking regulations preferred.
- Proven research and brief-writing skills; experience with motion practice and deposition preparation.
- Case-management experience, including discovery, document review/production, and working with clients and experts.
- Solid academic record; Law Review/Journals or Moot Court a plus. Must be in good standing with the Texas bar; admissions to Northern, Eastern, or Southern Districts of Texas preferred.
