Apply in confidence →Seeking a mid-level associate (approximately 3–6 years' experience) to join a nationally recognized Government Contracts practice across multiple U.S. offices. The role combines regulatory counseling, compliance work, and disputes concerning federal, state, and local procurement and federal financial assistance programs.
Typical matters include advising on FAR/DFARS and Uniform Guidance requirements, counseling contractors and grant recipients (including Native-owned entities) on eligibility and compliance, conducting internal investigations, and representing clients in bid protests, contract claims, False Claims Act matters, and related enforcement proceedings.
The position offers hands-on responsibility, collaboration with experienced practitioners across offices, and opportunities to support transactional diligence and regulatory risk work tied to federal contracting and grant-funded projects. - 3–6 years of experience in government contracts and/or federal grants counseling, investigations, or litigation
- Experience with federal procurement (FAR/DFARS) and/or federal financial assistance programs (2 C.F.R. Part 200)
- Familiarity with bid protests, GAO, Court of Federal Claims, or Boards of Contract Appeals practice preferred
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills; excellent academic credentials
- Bar admission in the hiring jurisdiction (or ability to obtain promptly)
