Top-tier national law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Government Contracts and National Security practice in Washington, DC. The role focuses on transactional government-contracts support (M&A and structured investments), facility security clearance and FOCI analyses, regulatory counseling, and contract drafting and negotiation.

Preferred experience includes work on small-business set-aside programs, SBIR/STTR awards, rights in technical data and software, cybersecurity/CMMC compliance, and prime/subcontract and teaming agreements. The role is within a growing, nationally prominent practice group and offers exposure to high‑profile matters across government‑facing clients.

Minimum five years of government contracts practice experience, with meaningful transactional and counseling experience
Experience with facility security clearances, DCSA processes and FOCI analyses preferred
Knowledge of small-business set-aside programs, SBIR/STTR, rights in technical data/software, and cybersecurity/CMMC compliance
Proven ability to manage multiple short‑deadline assignments and produce high‑quality written work product
Excellent writing skills and strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
