A full-service AmLaw 100 firm is seeking an attorney to join its Healthcare & Medical Malpractice practice in its Reno, Nevada office. The group represents hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers and industry participants in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings across a wide range of medical malpractice matters.

The role involves hands-on litigation work in a fast-paced environment: drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. The successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively on a growing, team-oriented practice.

While prior healthcare-specific experience is preferred, the firm is also open to strong litigators from any practice area who have a demonstrated interest in healthcare law. Admission to practice in Nevada
2–15 years of litigation experience representing healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings
Experience defending and litigating medical malpractice lawsuits preferred
Comfort drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions
Strong writing and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team
