Apply in confidence →Top-tier restructuring team in Washington, D.C. is seeking a finance associate to work on creditor- and debtor-side matters in chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings. The role focuses on liability management, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings, bankruptcy exit financings and other special-situations financings.
Successful candidates will join a high-activity practice advising financial institutions and funds on capital-structure solutions in both formal insolvency proceedings and negotiated restructurings. The position offers exposure to complex, top-of-capital-structure financings and distressed-debt matters.
- Law school class years 2019 023 (or equivalent junior associate experience)
- Experience representing creditors or borrowers on liability management, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, or special-situations financings
- Familiarity with chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings
- Strong drafting, deal-execution skills and ability to work on high-value, time-sensitive matters
