An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced insurance associate to join a top-ranked, growing Insurance & Reinsurance practice in London. The team advises many of the world's leading insurers and reinsurers on complex, high-value first-party coverage matters and related disputes, with a strong focus on construction (CAR/EAR), property, energy and renewables.

Much of the work carries an international dimension, and the team has deep experience in complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration and adjudication. From day one you will work closely with key clients, take responsibility for significant matters, and help shape the strategic and commercial advice the practice delivers.

You will be supported and encouraged to build your own relationships, profile and network within the insurance market. The team pairs technical insurance expertise with a practical, commercial approach, and this is an excellent platform for an ambitious associate to develop within a collaborative and highly regarded practice.

4+ years' PQE gained at a city, major regional or leading international firm
Relevant insurance experience in construction all risks (CAR) coverage as a minimum
Property, energy and renewables experience valued, alongside other contentious and dispute resolution work
Strong legal and drafting skills, with the ability to analyse complex coverage and legal issues and translate them into clear, practical, commercially focused advice
Sound judgement, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex matters effectively
Collaborative approach and an interest in building lasting client relationships and contributing to the team's growth
