A growing insurance coverage team in Los Angeles is seeking an associate with litigation experience to handle coverage analysis and declaratory-relief matters for insurers and related parties. The role involves preparing coverage opinions, managing aspects of coverage litigation, and representing clients in mediations, arbitrations and court proceedings.

Ideal candidates will be comfortable conducting factual and legal investigations, taking depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and producing clear, well-reasoned written opinions. The group welcomes attorneys with insurance-specific experience as well as litigators from other practice areas who have a demonstrated interest in coverage work.

1–7 years post-qualification experience in insurance coverage or related litigation
Admission to the California Bar required
Experience with coverage analysis and preparing coverage opinions (first-party property and general liability preferred)
Demonstrated litigation skills: depositions, hearings, motion practice, strong research and writing
