A highly regarded law firm seeks an insurance coverage associate with 3–5 years of significant coverage experience to join its nationally recognized insurance practice. Candidates based in Texas may be considered for a fully remote work arrangement.

The role involves analyzing insurance coverage, preparing coverage opinions, and litigating first- and third-party claims across multiple lines of coverage, including bad faith matters. The practice represents primary and excess insurers, reinsurers, third-party administrators, managing general agents, brokers and agents, and independent adjustment companies, with work spanning bad faith, casualty and specialty lines, professional liability coverage, property, and strategic risk and complex litigation.

The successful candidate will handle substantive litigation work, including taking depositions, attending court conferences, and drafting and arguing motions, while working on complex matters for insurance industry clients across the United States and internationally.

3–5 years of significant insurance coverage experience
Experience analyzing coverage and preparing coverage opinions
Litigation experience, including depositions, court conferences, and drafting and arguing motions
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with excellent academic credentials
Deposition and trial experience preferred but not essential
Texas Bar admission required
