An established, nationally recognized insurance law practice is seeking an associate with substantial insurance defense litigation experience to join its San Francisco team. The group represents major domestic and foreign insurers across virtually all lines of personal and commercial insurance, handling complex litigation and bad-faith disputes.

Associates in this practice routinely serve as lead trial counsel or national coordinating counsel on some of the largest insurance matters in recent memory, offering a high level of responsibility and sophisticated work.

The ideal candidate brings demonstrated familiarity with pretrial filings and will work on complex litigation, construction, mass torts, personal injury claims, and products liability matters, both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

4–7 years of significant insurance defense litigation experience
Familiarity with pretrial filings in complex litigation, construction, mass torts, personal injury claims, and/or products liability
Excellent academic credentials
Strong writing and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Admission to the California bar required
