A well-established national law firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Associate to join its Philadelphia litigation team. The role focuses on general insurance defense matters and will involve handling day-to-day litigation tasks in federal and state courts.

Responsibilities include taking depositions, attending court conferences and hearings, responding to discovery, and drafting and arguing motions. Strong legal research and writing skills, excellent academic credentials, and effective courtroom advocacy are essential.

Admission to the Pennsylvania bar is required; admission to or eligibility for New Jersey is preferred. This is a 2–3 year PQE opportunity for candidates with substantive insurance defense experience.

2–3 years of insurance defense litigation experience (general liability preferred)
Proven experience taking depositions, managing discovery, and drafting/arguing motions
Strong legal research and writing skills; excellent academic record
Admission to the Pennsylvania bar required; New Jersey admission or eligibility preferred
