We are seeking a mid-level associate with significant patent litigation experience to join a leading life sciences IP litigation practice. The role involves handling ANDA and other life sciences patent disputes in U.S. District Courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, including post-grant proceedings.

You will take an active role in case strategy, working directly with clients and opposing counsel. Responsibilities include conducting factual and legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery on infringement, validity, and damages, and participating in depositions, expert discovery, claim construction, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate is comfortable appearing in court, taking depositions, and thinking creatively as part of a collaborative team.

2–6 years of significant patent litigation experience in U.S. District Courts and PTAB post-grant proceedings
Experience with ANDA and/or life sciences patent litigation
Undergraduate or master's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related life sciences discipline preferred
Prior experience in the IP department of a comparable law firm preferred
Excellent writing skills and high academic achievement
Comfort with client and opposing counsel communication, and willingness to participate in strategic case development
