A leading international law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Intellectual Property Litigation practice, focusing on patent disputes in the technology and engineering sectors. The role involves significant responsibility in U.S. District Court and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, with opportunities for client interaction and strategic case development.

The successful candidate will actively participate in all phases of litigation, from case analysis and discovery through trial. 2–6 years of significant patent litigation experience in U.S. District Court and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (post-grant proceedings).
Experience with case analysis, factual and legal research, pleadings, discovery (including depositions and expert discovery), dispositive and discovery motions, claim construction briefing, and pre-trial/trial activities.
Undergraduate or master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or physics preferred.
Prior experience in the IP department of a comparable law firm preferred.
ITC experience is a plus.
Excellent writing skills and strong academic credentials.
Comfortable speaking directly with clients and opposing counsel, and willing to take depositions and appear in court.
