A leading global law firm seeks a Knowledge Management Attorney to build and lead the knowledge and practice management strategy for its Restructuring department. Working both independently and alongside other professionals, this role will monitor legal and business developments, keep the department and its clients current, and serve as a central source of legal, market and practical expertise.

The position involves creating and managing a structured collection of forms, precedents and research materials, establishing processes for closing binders and precedent capture, and organizing and delivering training for the practice. The attorney will also drive thought leadership — writing articles, developing blog and publication content, and collaborating with communications and business development teams on pitches, client alerts and podcasts.

A strong emphasis is placed on leveraging advanced technology, including AI-powered research, document management and analytics tools, to enhance knowledge capture, process efficiency and client service delivery. The role works closely with department leadership to assess needs, define and implement plans, and report on performance.

Five or more years of legal experience in Restructuring at a large law firm
Two or more years of knowledge management experience
JD and bachelor's degree required; active NY Bar membership
Excellent writing, drafting and research skills, including proficiency with AI-powered legal research platforms
Aptitude for and interest in technology, AI and integration issues
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively across a department
Willingness to travel among the firm's New York, Miami and Houston offices as needed
