Labor & Employment Associate (Mid-Level) – New York

We have an exciting opportunity for a Labor & Employment Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join our New York office. The role involves advising employers and handling single-plaintiff, complex, collective, and class action litigation and proceedings on their behalf.

As an associate in the Labor & Employment Department, you will work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys. You will have the chance to manage multiple matters simultaneously and to develop practical business solutions for clients.

• 3–6 years of high-caliber experience representing employers in labor and employment matters
• Experience handling employment litigation, with an emphasis on single-plaintiff, complex, and/or class and collective action matters
• Preference for candidates who have handled court conferences, depositions, mediations, dispositive motions, and trials, or who have wage and hour experience
• Experience advising employers on traditional labor, restrictive covenants, wage and hour law, leaves and accommodations, Title III, and other general employment law topics
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively
• Intellectual curiosity and high emotional intelligence
• Excellent academic credentials and a solid work ethic
• Stellar analytical skills and good judgment
• Experience providing recommendations and practical business solutions to clients
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
• Admission to the New York bar is required; New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and/or Connecticut is a plus
