Lateral Associate – FDA & Health Care (New York)

A leading international law firm is seeking a lateral associate to join its health care practice in New York. The role focuses on health regulatory and government enforcement matters involving drug and vaccine products.

The successful candidate will advise on Medicare and Medicaid coverage and reimbursement for prescription drugs, federal price reporting regimes (including the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, Medicare Part B Average Sales Price, Section 340B, and the Veterans Health Care Act), and related enforcement statutes such as the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute.

This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-stakes regulatory work within a collaborative practice group.

• 2 or more years of experience (class of 2024 or above) in health regulatory or government enforcement matters involving drug and vaccine products
• Experience with at least some of: Medicare and Medicaid coverage and reimbursement for prescription drugs; federal price reporting laws (Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, Medicare Part B ASP, Section 340B, Veterans Health Care Act); False Claims Act; and/or Anti-Kickback Statute
• Strong academic credentials
• Advanced analytical, research, and writing skills
