Lateral Associate – Litigation, Houston

A leading international law firm is seeking a litigation associate in law school class years 2021 through 2025 to join its Houston litigation team.

The firm maintains a broad, cross-functional litigation practice and welcomes candidates with exposure to a range of matters, including oil and gas, energy, fiduciary litigation, employment, privacy, antitrust, and securities work. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in and/or prior exposure to state and federal litigation practice.

Primary responsibilities include researching and drafting motions and briefs, participating in all aspects of discovery, and handling case and client management. Deposition, hearing, and trial experience are beneficial.

• Law school class years 2021 through 2025
• Strong interest in and/or prior exposure to state and federal litigation practice
• Experience or interest across a range of litigation areas (e.g., energy, employment, privacy, antitrust, securities)
• District court or appellate court clerkship experience preferred but not required
• Strong research and drafting skills; experience with discovery and case management
