Lateral Partner — Compliance & Regulatory, Munich

Senior partner hire to lead and expand a compliance and regulatory practice from the Munich office of a major international firm. The role will focus on regulatory advice across financial services, banking transactions and related tax considerations.

You will advise German and cross-border clients on regulatory compliance, sanctions, prudential rules and transactional regulatory risk, including complex matters touching on US regulatory regimes. The role combines client development, lead advisory on mandates and management of a specialist team.

• Established partner track record in compliance, regulatory and banking work
• Strong knowledge of German regulatory regime and experience with cross-border financial services matters
• Track record of originating and leading client engagements; team leadership experience
