Priority areas include a team-based technology practice (the firm prefers group moves) and opportunistic additions in other corporate specialties. M&A hires will be considered only where a candidate brings a very active, substantial portable book that justifies added support.
Recruiting and compensation decisions are managed centrally. Equity offers are tied closely to the candidate's portable book; the firm prefers self-sufficient partners who can immediately drive and retain client relationships.
- Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
- Proven track record of originating and managing corporate/business client relationships
- Strong local Calgary market knowledge and capital-markets experience
- Able to lead or integrate a practice group; preference for candidates who can bring a team
