Lateral Partner, Corporate & Energy — Toronto

Senior corporate partner opportunity within an established Canadian practice group with a significant energy mandate. The team is well resourced but hiring on an ad-hoc basis to replace upcoming retirements and to broaden capacity.

The firm is seeking a self-sustaining partner who will bring and manage their own client work, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to continued growth of the Toronto energy and corporate practice.

• Portable book of business of $2 million to $2.5 million
• Verifiable, portable practice with a proven, revenue-generating client base
• Approx. 15–25 years' post-call experience (candidates called between 2000 and 2010 preferred)
• Experience advising on corporate matters for energy-sector clients; ability to originate and manage mandates independently
