Lateral Partner, Corporate & Finance — Montreal

Senior partner-level hire to join the Montreal office of a national commercial law firm, focusing on corporate and finance matters. The role will have a strong private equity and venture capital component and will involve leading transactions, advising sponsors and growth companies, and originating new work.

The successful candidate will join an established team serving domestic and cross-border clients, mentor junior lawyers, and help grow the practice within Quebec and across the firm's Canadian platform.

• Portable book of business of $3M+ (USD)
• Significant transactional experience in corporate and finance matters, with emphasis on private equity and venture capital
• Proven track record of business origination and client relationship management
• Ability to lead deal teams and mentor associates
