Lateral Partner, Corporate (M&A & Capital Markets) — San Diego

Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its San Diego corporate team, with significant responsibility for M&A and capital markets work. The role will combine originations and deal execution across private equity, issuer-side capital markets and growth-company transactions.

The hire will collaborate closely with technology, intellectual property and finance practices and will support cross‑border matters handled by the firm’s national and global platform. The team is expanding and looks for a partner able to build client relationships, originate work and lead complex transactions.

• Portable book of business of $4M+ (USD)
• Established track record in M&A and capital markets (issuer-side and/or PE) and demonstrated client origination
• Experience advising technology and life‑sciences clients, financial services or energy-sector companies preferred
• Comfort working on cross‑practice and cross‑border matters; ability to lead teams and mentor junior lawyers
